2009 Club Event Laguna Seca, January 31, February 1 Schedule <download PDF> This Event is the start of our 2009 HMSA racing season. It is great starting the season at our home Laguna Seca! REMEMBER THERE IS A 103 dB SOUND RESTRICTION! We are honoring LeGrand at this year’s event. A huge Thank You goes out to Al Nowocinski for organizing this feature. This weekend shows what can happen when passion takes over! Registration will be located in the paddock at the gas pumps Friday, January 30th, starting at 3:00 P.M. Registration on Saturday will be starting at 7:00 A.M. This is a non-spectator event. Everyone entering the paddock must sign the Release & Waiver at Registration. We will be allowed access to the paddock Friday afternoon. There is a photo shoot in the paddock on Friday so the exact time we will be allowed to enter the paddock has not been established yet. It should be early afternoon. Please do not enter the paddock until instructed. The voices of those of you who camp in the Paddock have been heard - paddock camping is allowed for this event. Yes we have paid the fee to the County of Monterey for this privilege. The paddock camping fee is expensive so hopefully many of you will take advantage of this arrangement. Tech will begin Friday January 30th, at 3:00 P.M. and be open until dark. The Tech Inspectors will be in the paddock at the gas pumps. Please make sure your Tech Form and logbook have been completed prior to having your car inspected. Tech will resume Saturday morning at 7:00 A.M. If you need a logbook, one may be obtained from tech during the weekend. There will be a Driver’s meeting Saturday Morning located at the west end of the paddock garage complex.
